Adult Driver Education

The National Safety Council, Nebraska has a driver training program that can help adults become safe, effective, and responsible drivers. This DMV approved course is for adults age 18 and older who would like to improve their driving skills or have never driven. The course is customized for students who are having difficulty passing DMV written and drive skills tests, those who have put off getting their driver's license, or new citizens.

Our adult driver training program helps students develop safe and responsible driving habits, teaches hazard recognition, and explains how to best handle visibility, time and space in traffic. Our instructors are highly qualified and experienced. We provide new, safe, and clean vehicles for driving practice. We offer six hours of classroom training and six hours of behind the wheel drive time.

This class meets requirements for Nebraska DMV Examiner's Refusals.

Course Includes:

  • Six hours of classroom training
  • Six total hours of “behind the wheel” training divided into three two-hour drive sessions in our DMV approved vehicles  (pick-up and drop-off service may be available at additional cost. Please contact our office prior to your Course enrollment for details and to schedule this service.).

Learner's Permit:

Adults must have a learner's permit before attending the Adult Driver Training program.  NO FLIP FLOPS may be worn during drive sessions.
