Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO)
Advance Your Safety Career with OSHA Training
The Certified Safety & Health Official (CSHO) Certificate is a nationally recognized credential for safety professionals who want to expand their knowledge of OSHA standards, workplace safety regulations, and safety program management.
Developed by the Great Plains OSHA Education Center, the CSHO Certificate is delivered by NSCN, the only authorized host site in Nebraska. If you’ve completed the Specialist in Safety & Health (SSH) Certificate or are ready to take your professional development further, the CSHO program provides advanced OSHA training that prepares you to lead workplace safety initiatives with confidence.
Throughout the program, you’ll build expertise in OSHA regulations and interpretations, employee involvement, safety and health management systems, training requirements, workers’ rights and responsibilities, and program development. Earning the CSHO Certificate demonstrates your commitment to workplace safety and can strengthen your qualifications for leadership opportunities and career advancement.
The Great Plains OSHA Education Center will accept one Certificate of Completion from another OSHA Training Institute Education Center (OTIEC) outside of Region VII toward the CSHO Certificate requirements.
