Driver & Traffic Safety Programs
Whether you’re learning to drive, refreshing your skills, meeting a court requirement, or improving workplace safety, the National Safety Council – Nebraska Chapter offers education that helps people make safer decisions both on and off the road.
Driver Education & Defensive Driving
Driving is one of the most common activities we do every day, yet motor vehicle crashes remain one of the leading causes of preventable deaths. Most crashes result from human error, which means many can be prevented through education, awareness, and defensive driving techniques.
We offer driver training programs for every stage of life, including:
Traffic Ticket Dismissal (STOP/STAR)
Received a traffic ticket in Nebraska or western Iowa? Depending on your violation and the court that issued your citation, completing a STOP or STAR Traffic Ticket Dismissal Course may allow you to avoid fines, keep points off your driving record, and prevent the citation from being reported to your insurance company.
Teen Driver Education
Help your teen build safe driving habits from day one. Our program combines classroom or online instruction, behind-the-wheel training, and advanced driving simulators to help new drivers develop the skills and judgment they need before driving on their own.
