The National Safety Council, Nebraska's defensive driving course teaches strategies that enable motorists to address and manage road hazards. These strategies go well beyond instruction on basic traffic laws and procedures. Taking a defensive driving class helps individuals learn driving skills that can reduce car crashes and fatalities.
Organizations and individuals select the National Safety Council, Nebraska's driving programs because we consistently demonstrate higher rates of success in reducing the number and severity of crashes. Our defensive driving training courses are embraced by governments, corporations and other organizations that recognize the value of improving the driving and attitudes of drivers.
We provide the 4 hour STOP course that meets requirements for a court-ordered defensive driving course from the following courts: Douglas, Cass, and Washington in Nebraska and Pottawattamie County, and City of Council Bluffs in Iowa.
